Project Midnight: The Strange Deaths of 5 Quantum Physicists

§1Between September 2017 and April 2022, five quantum physicists working on adjacent DARPA-adjacent contracts died within ninety days of one another. Causes ranged from 'fall from height' to 'self-inflicted gunshot wound to the back of the head.'

§2All five had attended the same closed-door symposium in Geneva, October 2016. The conference produced no published proceedings. Hotel records were lost in a fire that destroyed only the relevant filing cabinet.

§3We have one document: a single page describing a proposed 'entanglement-based standoff weapon' capable of disabling electronics anywhere on Earth from a single coherent source. The paper is unsigned. The handwriting matches three of the deceased.
